Anyone have any figures on the success rate of bone marrow transplants Thanks

Please do not get too hung up on historical success rates. A lot depends upon the individual. The type of MDS, age, medical history, various treatments, etc all have to be taken into consideration. And what was “the rate” even a year or two ago may be way out of date by now. But, give us more info on who, what kind of MDS, age,and other illnesses and maybe we can point you in a direction.

I think it will tell you more if You ask the Dr’s that are doing the transplant their success rate at the institution where you are going to have the transplant. They will also know if there are any extenuating circumstances in your case.
