Mary: Just read your latest entry. Jim has been taking Exjade for over a month now. He hates it! He notices a change in his vision (fuzzy) and some headaches. Having CBC and CMP every week. His counts are low…even platelets low now. Still needing tx every 3 weeks or so.
His doctor is suggesting cyclosporine or Atgam to “kickstart” his bone marrow. Seems that will be the next step. Has anyone had experience with these meds??
