My Mom has started running fevers anytime her blood count gets low. She doesn’t have to have a high fever 100.6 or above and she starts to hallucinate. We have had her in the hospital twice in July.

Does anyone else have this problem? She has been receiving transfusion every 2 weeks for the last 2 yrs.

I am open to any ideas. I am taking her to OMA on Thurs to see Dr. Maness. If I should be asking any questions, please let me know.
