We tried Gerson therapy for a very short time. It is almost impossible to follow. Also, we met someone who had MDS and followed the Gerson therapy faithfully for 8 months (his sister and part time hired help worked very hard to keep it up), not only it did not improve his blood profile, unfortunately he passed away with complications of MDS. We have incorporated some of the principals into our diet, including carrot-apple and green juices 4-5 times a week. But their complete protocol was too punishing for us. Try to eat healthy, eat lots of fresh fruits and veggies (if possible organically grown), but Gerson therapy is not the miracle that they claim it is. At least not for MDS.
