Mom (MDS RAEB-T 7q, pancytopenia, anemia) age 80: Needs a hip replacement as she is in much pain. Cortisone shot did nothing. Very conservative treatment; has anyone with MDS had a hip replacement? Thank you for your time. Chem

I had a hip replacement in 2003 with no problems.

Do you have any other health issues besides the MDS? Just asking so she can get a full view for what your health was going into the hip replacement.
