in answer to the posting from the woman with MS who has been diagnosed with MDS: I have MS and MDS. the first time they gave me full strength Vidaza when just recovering from severe UTI I ended up in hospital, partially paralyzed. it took me a month to recover. the Vidaza affects my MS so I am on half-strength Vidaza per Mayo Clinic recommendation in conjunction with my oncologist. my numbers don’t improve but they are stabilized. for the first week I am weaker but recover.
