My husband Ed was dx with RAR or RARS in Aug.’03. He was on aranesp every two weeks since then. His hg hovered around 9 for some time but recently dropped to 8.1 after treatment with neupogen (4 wk. trial). His wbc has been around 1.2 and his platelets just dropped from normal to 127. He feels fairly well but has become pale and a little more sleepy.
His hematologist has suggested
bbsturm@hotmail.com starting him on vidaza. Comments and suggestions would be appreciated.
