Well, my dad went back to Sloan on Weds. It appears that his blasts are all gone after completing 4 rounds of Vidaza. The doctor wants him to do one more round, and she is going before the Board to recommend him for a mini transplant. I’m happy the blasts are gone for now, but the thought of a transplant is very scary to me. He has a pacemaker, and the doctor is concerned about the GVHD because of that. Does anybody know of a case where there was a transplant done on somebody with a pacemaker? He is going to be 66 next month, and he was diagnosed with RAEB2. Any help would be appreciated. Katie
