    Hello All,
On this Date, 4 years ago; Our Son’s Life was saved by an unknown 25 year old Bone Marrow Donor from Rochester Minnesota. We have become close Friends with this, now 30 year old Father of his own Son. I can not express our sincere Gratitude for this Gift of Life, but for the rest of my Life I will try. I want to thank each and every one of you as well, for standing by our side these past 4 years, and the 5 1/2 years since Billy’s initial diagnosis of bone cancer. THANK YOU ALL.

Happy 4th re-Birthday to Billy. Thank you, Bill, for sharing his story with us for the past 5+ years. You both have been great inspirations for many.

My anniversary is 25 days away and I do know it was a rebirth. We would not still be here if not for the SCT. Thank God for donors! And the skill of the doctors and other healthcare providers, too.

Thanks Jim. You and everyone here on the Forum have been ‘Pillers of strength’ for me these past 4 years. I can not tell you guy’s how many hours I spent reading your stories. I know our situation was different, but MDS is MDS no matter how you look at it. I was able to teach my Son how to shave, I was able to teach my Son how to drive. I was told he wouldn’t have survived 3 months without a transplant. We found a perfect match in 3 days, and the rest is a miracle.

Happy re-Birthday to you too Jim!(in advance!)It is a wonderful thing.
