I have good news about me, in that I’m responding tothe Procrit weekly injections,and after 9 injections my hemoglobin is 10.5! YEAH!! BAD NEWS about my daughter’s 32-year-old boyfriend..he was diagnosed with AML 9 days ago after having flu-like symtoms. He is at Stanford Hospital,so I know he is getting good care,but please tell me what you may know, whether it is good or bad news.

Congratulations!!! I am pleased to hear that you are responding to Procrit.

I am sorry to hear about your daughter’s boyfriend. I do not know too much about AML but he is young and he is in an excellent hospital. Keep us posted.

Hope the reds continue to climb.
did they check your iron level? IF iron is low a supplement improves effectiveness.

Neil………You are so right about the iron. As soon as my hematologist suggested abit of iron my hemoglobin started moving upwards faster. As of yesterday is is 10.7….Lynne
