Revlimid approval postponed till January

Bad news for all of us waiting for Revlimid. Celgene told me today that because FDA feels more testing is needed they have postponed aproval until January of 2006

Come on FDA . . . months are important to us.

I understand that they have come under some political fire recently for approving some drugs too quickly that later after general use showed some side effects that were unexpected. If they are going to do more testing it should mean trials will again give some of you that fit the guidelines access to the drug. Find out who is doing the “more tests” required.
