Caylee was 4 yrs old when she passed and was completely full of life. There was never a bad moment, never a bad memory, except the one where she died.

I had this message made to play at our Light the Night and Caylee’s Hope events, it really gets the message across.

Caylee’s Hope supports the Children’s Cancer Center and the Leukemia Lymphoma Society – specifically for Childhood Cancer Research.

Please sign our petition for Early Detection of Childhood Illness – by finger stick blood testing upon every doctors visit to test for abnormalities in the blood.

Dawn, I signed the petition. The video was so heart breaking and brought tears to my eyes. I have a friend with a little girl who is 6 who suddenly came down with a fever and petechaie. Took her to the doctor right away and she has aplastic anemia. She’s had several tx’s of platelets and doesn’t understand it all. Our heart breaks when little children suffer. I pray God will give you strength and thanks for the petition.

Dear Dawn, I just went to your site for Caylee and was deeply moved. I share the pain since my son just died on Oct.11,2005 from AML. I was blessed with having him in my life for 47 yrs as of Oct 7th but it seemed like just yesterday that I held him for the first time. It surprised me that the pain can be so acute. I have 7 other children to fill my life but the empty space of Christopher will mark my heart forever. To add to my sorrow, my dear husband died on 9-8-04 from AML. Both of them were exposed to Benzene in their work for the Fed. Gov’t. I encourage you to pursue your quest to have more testing and studies done to hopefully save other families from this tragedy.
