Stem Cell Bills

There are two Stem Cell Bills in the House of Representatives in Washington, D.C. to be voted upon right away. Please contact your elected representatives and strongly encourage them to support both bills today!

The Castle-DeGette Bill by Mike Castle, R – Delaware, and Diana DeGette, D – Colorado. The Smith-Davis Bill by Chris Smith, R – New Jersey, and Artur Davis, D – Alabama.

In addition, please contact President George W. Bush and ask him not to veto these bills, but instead to support them!

Not sure if this will work but here is a list of all the states and who voted for/against stem cell research. No big surprises – too bad it will probably be vetoed when it’s clear that the majority agree with it. http://webcenters.compuserve.com/compuse…0&w=APO&coview=

I just don’t understand why anyone would be against this – I guess it takes being in a life/death situation like we are faced with to be able to understand.
