Update on Mom

I just got back from visiting Mom in the hospital — she had her mastectomy today. She was still a bit out of it and worn out, but did eat a little and was able to talk a little as well.

It was nice that they let her stay in the BMT wing of the hospital — the nurses and doctor insisted since she has so many issues. They think that she’ll stay 2 or 3 days.

I’m just hoping that she can get her strength up. She’s been so weak — she can’t get out of bed without help, and her Parkinson’s symptoms have seemed to have gotten worse with all the problems.
