    Hi,

Has anyone ever struggled with either systemic yeast or all over the skin? I read somewhere that MDS patients are prone to yeast. Mom is covered head to toe in yeast and I’m pretty sure she has it internally too. Nothing is kicking it. Has anyone else struggled with this? If so, how did you get a handle on it? She takes a high powered probiotic already and I finally told her to start taking the Diflucan the doctor ordered. So far, no success. She’s down to 300 ANC’s and dropping fast as her body tries to fight this stuff off.

Looking for help, suggestions if anyone has been through this.

    Thanks,

    patti

I eliminated all sugar, all dairy and I got it under control, although I don’t think I eliminated it. Sugar makes yeast multiply. Also avoid all yeast breads and yeast beers. Good Luck
