Why irradiated/filtered blood? Please educate me. And how can I check if it is other than asking? Grover’s Dr.has other MDS patients but Conroe is a suburb north of Houston and is comparatively small. I think his Dr. tried common straight forward meds/tx and he says he feels that the experience/collective knowledge at Anderson would better serve Grover, as his overall health is good at this time. Yes, Dr checks everything and Grover takes Metanx. Dr did not offer Aranesp. Procrit, alone, at 60,000 units does not sustain RB count. Thnks, Neil
