    Dear Julia,
Thank you for your reply.Good to hear from someone going through the same thing! My husband has been getting weekly transfusions and plateletts for 2 years!!!!!He’s had 4 months of Vidaza and now on 2nd clinical trial with no improvements, u like your boyfriend he has not lost a single pound!!
Moffitt cancer center has mentioned bone marrow transplant but they are skeptical as he is 70 and it is quite an ordeal to go through this procedure. He goes for cbc twice a week, 4 to 6 hours for transfusions once ortwice a week, then 200 miles round trip to Moffitt Cancer 6 to 8 times a month . It’s taken a toll on both of us especially when we don’t know what the future brings. At least we have the ability of going to a good cancer center.Thank you for letting me vent!!!!
Is your boyfriend scheduled for the transplant? ?What is his blood and platelet count??
Thanx again, hope to hear from you soon, hang in there!!!!!!
    H
