I was 42 in 2007 and Diagnosed with MDS UNC w/o Anemia Deletion #7 Chromosome. ISPP Score Intermediate 2. They told me I may only live 6 to 15 months. I refused chemo and I'm still here. Did have a few close calls. In 2013 I tried chemo as the pain was getting so severe I was willing to try anything. Chemo for me created horrible problems. After 3 or for sessions and being in the hospital I said I'm done. And my counts remain low in all. But I deal with the pain and want for those with the same MDS I have you already no you are a 1% of all MDS cases and the info out there is dark. But I'm here to bring you some light. It has been 8 yrs and I'm still here. Yes I have bad days and horrible pain daily but I am here and can do normal things. Love to all..
