Fran,
I am happy to hear that Justin arrived home safely. That is one less thing for you to have to worry about.
I hope that Jim soon feels better and that he will be able to take you for your surgery.
Good luck with the lead replacement and let us know how it goes.
Blessings,
CarolineAugust 12, 2006 at 7:38 pm #14148franmMemberHi all Good Friends:
Well Jim finished his 3rd round of Vidaza on Wednesday and Thursday I had my lead replaced. the operation was pretty long. the doc wanted me to stay over-night in the hospital this time. As soon as they found a room for me, I send Jim home. He didn’t come back until the next day to take me home. He is still real tired and now, I can’t do anything because of my surgery.
Things don’t seem to get any better. Still, I pray that they do. We both want to go on a cruise to Mexico but can’t seem to find the time. He either has chemo or another appointment. Or I have appointments. Jim is having a MRI on his spine on the 22nd of this month. I see the doc that did my surgery on the 23rd of this month and Jim see’s the Oncologist on the 29th of this month.
Time sure flys when you are having fun.

I sure hope that things settle down and get better so you and Jim can take that trip. You both sure deserve it! Try to take it easy and rest up…this has been a crazy month for you both. Keep us updated when you get a chance.
Take care,
Jody
September 1, 2006 at 4:26 pm #14150franmMemberHi and it has been some time since I wrote to you about my husband Jim.
He starts his 4th round of Vidaza tomorrow for 7 days. I hope he feels well, so that he can go through the whole cycle without getting sick, or being in the hospital. He always seems to feel real good just before he starts chemo again each month.
As of 8/28/06 his CBC were: WBC – 3.8, RBC-3.92, ROW – 16.0, Monocytes 2 L, Glucose, serum 102. New blood test on Tuesday.
We are hoping to get away for 2 days and go to Laughlin on the 17-18. That will be before he see’s the Oncologist on the 25th.
I will be starting Group Therapy because of everything I am going through now.
So, please just continue Praying for us and everyone else on the forum…we all need your prayers.
Thanks and good luck to you all.

I will continue to pray for you and Jim, as I check for your updates. Tell Jim that a lot of friends he hasn’t met are pulling for him.

Thank you so much for your support. it is nice to know that someone cares. Jim son and daughter don’t call much and he hasn’t heard from his daughter who lives in Las Vegas with her mother for almost 6 months now.
Thanks again for all your prayers.
