I also have flu like symtoms for the last year. Talked with my Dr. and he said MDS or Revlimid will not cause these symtons. I did research and Revlimid will cause body aches. The Revlimid works well so I am still on it. To ease the body aches he gave oxycodone which I don’t like the way it makes feel but I still take 2 pain pills per day. Good luck

I was diagnosed with MDS 5qdel July of 2013 and have been on Revlimid since. The Revlimid has stopped the need for transfusions. The only problem I have had is body aches. Good luck with Revlimid.

I have mds 5q del and have been on Revlimid for 3 years. It has kept my numbers good. The only problem I have had is body aches. The Dr said it could be the Revlimid or my MDS. I have my blood drawn every month to keep an eye on my numbers. The Dr. told me I will have to take Revlimid the rest of my life or until it stops working. I wish you good luck with your MDS.

Dennise The Revlimid has kept my red and white count good, however my red cells are below normal but Dr. is not worried.
During my 7 days off Revlimid I still have body aches. My Dr. is not sure why I have the body achesand I can’t find anything about the aches except it can be a side effect of Revlimid. I hope we can find somthing about 5qdel mds body aches.
