    Dear Barbara,
    You and Ron have been in my prayers. I will continue to pray for you and your family. I just saw post today. I have been dealing with my daughter who can not walk due to back injury (she has mild cp). She is doing better.

    Just take care of you and keep the great memories.

    Hey Julie,

    It really freaked us out when they told my Dad five years ago that he had RA MDS and had approximately five years. Dad has been on his “death bed” recently and is now doing better. His tx were once a week but after his open heart surgery, he went to tx every two weeks and just recently, he went three weeks between tx. He is now on procrit again and seems to be content just maintaining his illness with tx. He has not given up on trials but decided to take a rest. He just finished helping me build a new house and he now starting on my sisters. He feels good for about a week and a half then is ready for tx.

    We hope to beat the odds…

    Dear Lisa,

    Thank you so much for sharing your Dad’s wonderful story and spirit with us. My only hope is that your wonderful memories of him will help ease your pain. Your Dad sounds so much like mine. My Dad told us to celebrate at Chucky Cheese when he goes on to heaven. I loved the suggestion that someone made on this site to celebrate your loved ones birthday by going to their favorite restaurant.

    My heart breaks for you but rejoices for you because you know your Dad is in a wonderful place.
