    Hi Vance:
I was thinking about you the other day and wondering how Ruby was doing. I am glad that she is getting better and hope she continues to improve.
My daughter is having twins in April and wonder if the cord blood would be a possibility for me.
Keep us posted on Ruby’s getting better.

    Hi Carrie:
I am donating 400cc of blood every two weeks. It is then being thrown away. Sort of sad when the need is so great.
I had 50 txs (2 units each) prior to revlimid, but now my crit is high enough to take the blood from me. The doc is trying to get my ferritin level down. It was at 3609 a week ago. It is coming down slowly.
Keep the good thoughts in your head and you will come through it fine. Good Luck

I think this a very good idea and have added my signature. It helps others to understand what you have or are going through. Thanks for the info to do it.

    Hi Jody:
I have a port-a-cath. It gives blood for all the tests and I can also receive any meds that go directly into the veins. Only my left arm was really accessable for drawing blood and the vein was really getting scarred, making it more difficult. My port is under the skin and was used two days after it was put in to get blood.
