That’s kind of tough, the Cobra would be as much as the SSD payment.

What about medical insurance in regards to SS Disability? Do you qualify for Medicare.

I don’t know if it is the MDS or the diagnosis, I find it harder to concentrate on things which in turn, affects memory.

    Hi Sandy,
Noni never claimed to help platelets, it just happens that it sometimes does. Lots of luck.

    Jerry,
I am not aware of any negatives in regards to Noni Capsules, they do work better if you take one in the morning and one at night. My nose is already big enough for two people so the capsules could only shrink it. I’m a skeptic about most things, so I was doubtful about the pills, but I couldn’t argue with the results. Like everyting about this illnes, it will work for some and not others. Good luck

    Neil,
I could have gone all day without reading that increased WBC indicates Leukemia transformation. My whites have increases every month 2.5 years. The only good thing is my total count percentages stay in accecpable ranges. I have had no infections. This month was the first drop 36.6 to 33.0. My Neutrophils are 81%, Lymphs 7%, Monos 9,4%. I feel great, other than tiring easily.
I know what your saying is true, seeing it sometimes is un-nerving.

I just had my monthly CBC and the platelets were 98k, my whites dropped from 36.5 to 33 which is good for me. My son sent me an E-mail saying that maybe I was mis-diagnosed and instead of CMML, I just have SCBM – Seriously Confused Bone Marrow, or plain old SCUD – Stem Cells Utterly Dysfunctional. If you can’t joke about this you could go nuts.

Mine are called Noni Maui Veggie Capsules, If you Goolge that name it will come up, They are doing some clinical studies on cancer treatment at University of hawaii through NIH, with with noni provided by this company. When I was I Phoenix recently I heard them advertise a new noni store in the area. I can’t recommend the Juice only because I haven’t tried it, I would think it would be better. My Doctor ignores me when I mention seed, pinapple, or noni. I take 2 tablets a day, one in the morning and one in the evening, I didn’t get a good results when I take them both at once.

Everyone has a different way of gettting the seed down. I was told using a grinder was best because if you just chew them, most of them are swallowed whole and you don’t get the benefit. My way is a little strange, but I can’t stand to eat them, ground up or not.I run them through a grinder and added them to a small glass of crystal light, they don’t dissolve so I just stir it up and drink it quickly, they are still not good, but I get them down and that’s what counts.

    Hi Jody,
I don’t think there is anything wrong with eating the pineaple rather than juicing it. The negative is the fiber and how it affects your digestion. There was no way I could eat a whole pineaple every day, when you get a good one, it’s great, but usually they are a little green or bitter. I quit doing pineaple after the noni capules started working for me, when my platelets drop, I will go back to juicing, when I did the sesame seeds I ran them through a grinder and added them to crystal light, they still weren’t good, but I got them down. Jim is tougher than I am, I couldn’t just eat them.
