Doreen ~ My prayers are with you. Just trust in the Lord and he will pull you thru all of this. We are always here for you…
AprilMemberBeth ~ Thanks for the site. Mom has a few of these things in the Active Phase and alot in the Pre-Active phase. It’s really scary hearing her talk about these things..you know..you would think that things would be peaceful and not scary like that.
AprilMemberThat was great! You never know when the Lord will help you for something that you have done for someone else. He is a Great God!
AprilMemberWell, she has suprised us..she made it thru the weekend But now she is seeing some very scary things. She told her daughter this morning that there was a hook sticking out of her. She keeps seeing a claw coming towards her and on Saturday there was a little boy standing next to her walker. Is all of this the “normal” process? She hasn’t changed any of her meds..so we’re not sure what is exactly happening…Thanks for your prayers…you will never know just how much they mean to me…
AprilMemberThank you guys…I would really like to know some things to look for. I talked to my neice this afternoon and she said that mom has a lot of energy today. She is able to get up by herself and she has used the bathroom. From everything that I have read it says that sometimes they get a burst of energy a day to hours b4 they let go. Her breathing is really irregular also. For some of you that don’t know my husband is the baby of the family. He lived with her all of his life up until 9 months ago when we moved out. We moved in with his parents when we got married and stayed there for 11 1/2 years. It has been so hard on him and I just want to look for some signs that the end is near so that I can get a grip and be able to be there for him.
AprilMemberJennifer ~ I will be praying for you!!! I’m so sorry to hear about you have the AML. It’s such a scary word, right along with MDS. My mother-in-law has AML but she chose not to have treatment. My prayers are with you and your family…
You are very young and that is to your advantage. Try to stay strong
AprilMemberI’m sorry to hear about your dad. My thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family.
AprilMemberThanks everyone. The kids have actually been getting along, believe it or not. Charlotte has been there since she come home from the nursing home, which is really amazing…I talked to her this morning and she said that mom has been really really confused for the past 3 days and her short term memory is just about shot.
Thanks for your prayers…they mean so much to me!!!!
AprilMemberSound like everything is going well for Bob. I pray that he will keep improving.
AprilMemberI am Loopy Bubblefanny…How fun is that…
AprilMemberKate ~ I’m happy to hear that you all are home. I know it is hard to hear that kind of news from the doctors, but at least he is home!! That alone must make him feel a lot better. I hope that his counts will stay up for a while…Please let me know if there is anything I can do..You all are in my prayers…
AprilMemberNeil ~ I’m so sorry to hear about your mom. My prayers are with you and your family.
AprilMemberThat is great Greg!!! I’m happy to hear that your mom is doing well…
AprilMemberBarb & Ron ~ I totally agree with you when it comes to Neil. I know I haven’t been on the board that much lately, but to jump on here and read what Ron has wrote was just wonderful. I’m so very sorry that things have not worked out to your advantage and I will be praying for all of you as you start your path.
Prayers to all…
AprilMemberOh my…I’m a “caregiver” also..I think that our jobs are very important! We also need somewhere to vent and a place where we can talk to others that are in the same boat…With this forum we get the best of both worlds. We get to talk with other caregivers and with survivors and people that are currently going thru what our loved ones are going thru. I love this place and the people!!!
Barbara ~ I really hope that the next trial that Ron is on will help him out. That things will start getting better for you 2. Please know that you are in my prayers.
