mommachkateMemberThank you All for the support and care. Today we went to the cardiologist for his regular check up. He said everything looks and sounds oke. This gave us a “better day”.
Kathryn,The doctor wanted to order him phisical teraphy, but than again because his low plt and his intens backpain, he gave up on it. George didn,t mind it at all, he is not the working out kind of guy, never was. He is comfortable now, hardly have any pain. We just scared about the low plt.My best wishes to all of you and your loved one. KatemommachkateMemberKathryn, My husband, George has had really bad swelling of his feet, and a doctor said it is due to the leucemia. Thinking of your MOm, and you, hoping for a very negativ result. I hope her stomach problem gets better soon.Best wishes KatemommachkateMemberEsme,
I hope I will be able to be a little help to you. George was having cemo in the Moffitt cancer center. The doctor explained to me , that the best thing could happen is, that his AML turns back to CMML It didn,t happen to him unfortunatelly. He also said , this is because of the condition he was in, and his age also a factor. He is 71 years old. Of cause other patients can go to full remession. Right now all he can get is supportive treatment. I am trying to explor every possible treatment out there, what he could get. Please be positive, you have to think only, that the treatment will work.Best wishes Kate.mommachkateMemberHi Neil, I am soooo happy to hear from you. I was thinking ( hoping) that you are on vacation.I hope you had a great time, and feeling good. Kate
mommachkateMemberThank you all for your thoughts and prayers for George. I am getting the wheatgrassjuice tomorrow for him. Thank you Jody.
Terri, Dr Lancet from the Moffitt doesn,t recomend any treatment either, only supportive treatment . Tomorrow I will call again. His BMB blast was very high, but his wbc is normal, and most of his other number looks good, only the rbc and the plt is getting to low to fast. We have to keep fighting. How is Bob doing? I hope he is feeling better. Best wishes KatemommachkateMemberHi Carrie, Good to read all the good news about your Dad, I hope he will get reed of that infection soon.Best wishes for him, Kate
